
Jodi Mahoney is the Principal of Greenbrook Elementary School in South Brunswick, New Jersey. Jodi has been a teacher in NYC, a literacy and math staff developer and administrator in NYC and since 2004 has been working as an administrator in South Brunswick School District. Jodi is the author of two books for teachers, Joyful Ways to Teach Poetry to Young Children (Jodi Weisbart, Scholastic, 2000) and Nonfiction in the Early Grades (Jodi Weisbart Mahoney, Scholastic, 2001). Jodi is a graduate of Wellesley College (BA), NYU (MA) and Teacher’s College (MA). She is currently pursuing her Ed.D. at the University of Pennsylvania. Jodi is passionate about teaching reading and writing and leads with her heart. Her staff can count on receiving poetry from her to inspire, thank or motivate them. Jodi is a leader who wears her heart on her sleeve and is proud of it!

Bonnie Capes-Flanders is proud to be the Lead Learner of Crossroads South Middle School. Bonnie earned her bachelor of science degree in Music Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, and her Master’s degree from Teacher’s College, Columbia University. She also holds an Administrative and Supervisory certification from the Foundation for Education Administration’s NJEXCEL Program for Educational Leadership.
Bonnie began her teaching career here in South Brunswick at Constable and Brooks Crossing Elementary Schools. She has also served South Brunswick as an Assistant Principal at Dayton, Deans, and Monmouth Junction Schools, as the Director of Professional Development, and as the Principal of Cambridge Elementary School.
Bonnie is a proud mother of her two children, Autumn and Spencer, who are also recipients of a strong South Brunswick education.
